Style 1101 is a multipurpose self foaming valve packing made of 100% TFE fluorocarbon. In its un sintered form, Sealing cord™ has a high degree of pliability enabling it to conform to valve stuffing box flaws and irregularities, providing an endless molded packing set. Installation couldn’t be simpler just wind the lock cord around the valve stem, tighten down on the gland nuts, add more material and repeat until stuffing box is full.

BJSEAL Style 1102(W) INDFLON™ Thread Tape - White

Style 1102 A quick convenient thread sealant made of 100% TFE flurocarbon. A chemically inert, non hardening, non- contaminating permanent seal able to withstand temperature from -200° C to +190° C .Most PTFE tapes require many wraps of material to seal, not Style 1102, this seals with just two or three wraps. Most PTFE tapes become difficult to unwind, not Style 1102, you can use all of the tape, right to the end of the spool. Style 1102 Superior White PTFE Thread Sealant Tapes can be used with confidence in most thread seal applications. Installation requires clean threads free from oil and grime wrap threads at least 1/8” back from end. Over lap one half a turn, pulling tape in to threads. Break taps and assemble fitting.

BJSEAL Style 1102(G) INDFLON™ High density PTFE Gas Tape-yellow

Style 1102 Gas tape is made of soft, pliable, higher density PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) resins, and with its highest quality, it is easier to install and effect a seal, will not leak due to vibration or severe chemical contact for easily recognition, it can be cream yellow and pink colored with indivisible pigment; and the white tape is 100% PTFE made of, complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 (PFTE) food requirements. 
Gas tape is a non-corrosive, low coefficient of friction, odorless that stops leakage through treads. It may be used on stream, salt water, air, fuels, all acids, alkalis and solvent. It also can be used on natural gas, propane or butane and petroleum distillates. It also meets MLT-T27730A, DIN EN751-3, and BS-7786 standards.

Installation – requires clean threads, free from oil and grime. Wrap threads at least 3mm (1/8”) back from end. Overlap one half turn pulling tape into threads, break tape and assemble fitting, it couldn’t be easier.


BJSEAL Style 1102(O)INDFLON™ High density PTFE Oxygen Tape- Green

If you're working with oxygen or any other compressed gas then Green P.T.F.E* Tape is the sealant tape of choice for today's most discriminating service technician. Green tape is free of the oily solvent residue used during the manufacturing process. Green tape is manufactured to the maximum possible density making it effective to very high pressures. High density Green thread sealing tape is superior to liquid thread sealants. Liquid thread sealants for oxygen systems based on fluorinated oils are expensive. Green thread sealing tape is cleaner, easier to use and only costs a few cents per joint.

Style 1106 is 100% virgin PTTE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which is an expanded form, having homogeneous structure characteristics, so it is industrial available to all type flanges or instruments.Adhesive-Backedstrip and peel-off backing allow easy installation on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Tear off the release paper from the back of the joint sealant, stick product to the surface to be sealed, taking care to lap over the two ends, cut to size and you now have the perfect gasket sealing.

Installation instructions

  • Select a tape width which is approximately 2/3 the width of the sealing surface.
  • Remove dirt, particles, scale and flow materials from the surface
  • Lubricate the bolts and the underside of the nuts
  • Remove release paper from the adhesive
  • Apply tape to sealing surface in whatever configuration necessary, pressing lightly to stick, an overlapping the ends about ½ inches at a bolt holes.
  • Tighten the bolts following standard torque sequences

ANTI-SEIZE TAPES- COPPER- NICKEL- CERAMIC

A truly unique product range that protects fasteners against seizure, carbon fusion, corrosion and galvanic pitting. The range of anti-seize tapes can be applied to fasteners to overcome unwanted seizures, breakage, downtime and repair bills. Apply by simply wrapping one layer of tape around the thread. These tapes consist of specially formulated high temperature metallic or ceramic sub-micron particles dispersed through the PTFE matrix. Lubricity while the sub-micron particles act like bearing plates between the male and female surfaces. At high temperatures (>260oC) the PTFE depolymerizes depositing the high temperature particles on the thread surfaces which act like a lubricant during assembly and disassembly.
Advantages in Aggressive Conditions
The tapes also coat and seal threads against dust, corrosive liquids and vapours and prevent fasteners from loosening during vibration and shock loading. Unlike anti-seize pastes or compounds, anti-seize tapes are non-contaminating. They will not run, rub or squeegee off. This makes them ideal in all industries and in particular the food and beverage industries. They are also particularly effective in areas where machinery or fixtures are immersed in or washed by water or other corrosive liquids.
Application
Whether the nut being fitted, or removed, is a coarse or fine thread, or has a large or close tolerance between male and female thread diameter and pitch, it is important that the thread tape is applied correctly, so that it is not pushed off by the nut. Tape should be wrapped with 50% overlap on each previous lap and should be applied as illustrated in the diagram on the right.

BJSEAL 4000 INDFLON™ PTFE SHEET

This particular material is an incredible engineering plastic that is most famous for its very low friction and also it’s very wide operating temperatures. PTFE Sheet is an engineering plastic that is also known for its electrical resistance and also high radio frequency resistance. 
Applications:
Due to its very low friction, PTFE as an engineering plastic is often used or chosen for wear pads, slide ways, bearing plates and antifriction guide strips. In comparison, PTFE Sheet performs much better than Nylon or Acetal with regards to reduced friction, although UHMWPE outperforms PTFE with regard to wear resistance. It is also a very good engineering plastic suited to seals due to its ability to compression set. This will allow the PTFE Sheet to conform to a mating surface much better than many other engineering plastics and produce an improved seal. PTFE is most famous for its use in non stick cookware, where a thin layer of PTFE is sprayed onto the surface to prevent food from sticking. It is also now used in high performance water repellent and highly breathable clothing. It also is extensively used on the base of irons and plumbing tape.

PTFE Sheet Sizes
The typical commercial availability of PTFE Sheet sizes are 1200mm X 1200mm and 1500mm X 1500mm although the thinner materials are available in extended lengths due to their production in roll form.

BJSEAL STYLE 4100 INDFLON™

Basic Fillers Used in PTFE Resins Glass Fiber is the most universally used PTFE filler. Since glass has the least effect on chemical and electrical properties and adds greatly to mechanical properties of unfilled PTFE, glass-fiber compounds afford the best balance of chemical, electrical and mechanical properties of any filled PTFE compounds. Graphite is generally used in compounds destined for chemical and mechanical service. Graphite reduces initial wear and provides general strengthening characteristics to the composition. Also, graphite compounds generally display high load carrying capabilities in high-speed rubbing contact applications. Bronze compounds have higher hardness, lower wear, higher comprehensive strength, better dimensional stability, higher thermal conductivity, lower creep and cold flow than most other compounds. However, test data shows that bronze compounds are not suited to many electrical applications or to those that involve corrosive service environments. Molybdenum Disulfide adds substantially to the hardness, stiffness and wear resistance of PTFE resins. It reduces starting friction and has little effect on PTFE’s electrical and chemical properties. Generally, only small amounts of molybdenum disulfide are used, most often in conjunction with complementary fillers.
